Colicron BB

Butyrate

It is a short chain fatty acid, generally produced by intestinal microbiota. It favours intestinal homeostasis contributing to: epithelium trophism, protecting the intestinal barrier and exerting anti-inflammatory activity. It also contributes to the prevention of the onset of opportunistic infections, which are rare, but the most severe side effects of the antibiotic treatment. It also reduces all the typical gastrointestinal symptoms of antibiotic treatments, such as abdominal pain, flatulence, diarrhea, nausea.

Saccharomyces boulardii SP92

It is a probiotic yeast not susceptible to antibiotics. It improves gut homeostasis and contributes to the rebalancing of gut microbiota, exerting antimicrobial, immunomodulatory and trophic effects.

Systematic reviews confirm that it is effective in reducing the risk to develop antibiotic-associated diarrhea.

Colicron Duo

Berberine and Quercetin

Two natural compounds with plenty of literature research supporting their beneficial activity on inflammatory gut conditions. In particular, they exert anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities, support the integrity of the intestinal barrier and berberine is also an antimicrobial molecule.

Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG

One of the most studied and known probiotics, rebalances gut microbiota, favouring the proliferation of beneficial, commensal bacterial species. A balanced gut microbiota exerts positive effects on bowel movements and restores intestinal barrier integrity. LGG also exerts anti-inflammatory activity, mitigates diarrhea episodes and clinical studies support its use in the induction and maintenance of remission of UC.

Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA)

PEA is a compound with analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, naturally present in our body. It also positively regulates GI transit.

Undaria (Wakami edible seaweed)

It protects PEA in the gut, which can persist longer, so also its benefits will last longer.
